Ministries
We have ministries that are focused on spiritual growth, or community building, or places to play and celebrate being together! To us Jesus taught us HOW to live together in love. We are always practicing.
Congregational Life
Tending to hospitality and the care and support of our congregation is vital to our life together. Making phone calls to those who are ill or experiencing challenges. Sending hand made cards to those who aren’t able to attend in person any longer.
Greeting our visitors with a warm smile and sincere interest. Making coffee and serving treats. Everything matters!
Music Ministry
How can music not be important to a church? We have an amazing music program with a Music Director, Lindsay Hogan who writes music, a pianist who moves us weekly, Jonathan Roberts who lead, wonderful singers, a powerful choir, and find guest musicians who provide special music.
We also have an expanding Community Music program. Find more here. Our Music Director, Lindsay Hogan and pianist, Jonathan Roberts lead two community Choirs, The Alameda Ladies Choir, and the Alameda Children’s Choir.
